Donald Trump will be the next president of the United States.

According to multiple reports, the Republican nominee has reached the 270 electoral vote threshold to clinch the presidency against Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

In a stunning victory, Trump secured battleground states such as Ohio, Florida, North Carolina and Iowa. The Republican nominee also reportedly had the numbers to secure Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Secretary Clinton has reportedly called Trump to concede the election.

Trump, who has consistently touted his business record as what America needs to be “great again,” is the first American president-elect without any government or military experience. The self-described billionaire launched his campaign last June at Trump Tower in New York City.

He outlasted 16 Republican opponents during the primaries to become the party’s nominee.
