A video circulating on Facebook is showing one amazing black girl schooling her teaching about racism.
When the video begins, you know it’s going to be good, because as soon as the teacher tries to talk over her, this young woman isn’t having it, saying, “I let you talk; you’re gonna let me talk.”
She then goes on to explain racism: “I’m sorry this is the way it is. It is f***ed up. But white people control everything. And that’s not fair. And when anybody, any other minority, tries to say anything about it or change it, we’re complaining or we’re ungrateful.”

She then tries to continue, speaking to a comment the teacher had made before the video began about immigration, claiming there were “too many Latinos,” and when the teacher tries to argue that he did not say anything like that, others in the classroom pipe up with, “Yes, you did!” and another arguing “You want to preserve ‘American culture.'”
The brilliant student then goes on to say that “there is no American culture” before continuing, “And because you are white and you are so closed-minded, you refuse to accept that.”

“Don’t tell me I’m closed-minded,” the teacher insists.
“Everything you’ve said to me is closed-minded,” she replies.
“Just because I don’t agree with you doesn’t mean I’m closed-minded.”
“I’ve had conversations with people that don’t agree with me,” she counters. “But if they at least listen and try to accept, but you’re not accepting the truth.”
“Why do I have to accept what you think is right? Why?” asks the teacher, raising his voice.
“You need to accept the truth, not what I think is right, what’s actually happening,” she shoots back.
Talking over her, the teacher says, “And let me tell you one other thing. You said white people have everything, control of everything. Who is the president of the United States right now?”
The girl then stands up, clearly frustrated as she starts to list off, “With a white Congress, with a white Senate, with white everything else! He doesn’t have control of everything.” As the classroom bursts into murmurs of agreement, the teacher tries to shush them before looking to the girl speaking out.
“Do you have to scream?” he asked.
“Yes, because I’m mad.”
