Nia Long nabs recurring role on ‘Empire’

Nia Long is set to appear in a recurring role for season 3 of “Empire.”

Long’s character will be Giuliana (Giusi), a queenpin who runs a club in Las Vegas and isn’t shy about underground dealings to get ahead–including securing a deal with Empire Records. She can take on Lucious and Cookie on her own turf, and like so many others, she does this all while reconciling with her own past.
