On Tuesday, the Islamic State claimed that the Somali student responsible for the Ohio State attack that injured eleven people “is a soldier” of their group.
The Ohio State attacker, Abdul Artan, intentionally drove his car into pedestrians before exiting his vehicle with a butcher knife and slashing several more people. He was shot dead by police just moments after his attack began, though the school remained in lockdown for an hour and a half after his attack.
