Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, are currently house hunting as they look to move to Washington, D.C., amid rumors that Kushner will play an important role in Donald Trump’s administration, though it is not yet clear what that role would be.

Ivanka was a likely contender for an advisory role in the Trump administration, considering the speech she gave on her father’s behalf at the Republican National Convention in July, as well as the fact that she was behind the rollout of a childcare tax credit policy for the campaign.

As for Kushner, as White House chief of staff Reince Priebus said on NBC’s “Today” show just after the election, “I think Jared Kushner, obviously [Trump’s] son-in-law is going to be very involved in decision-making.”

If Ivanka and Kushner are going to play any role in the Trump administration, it is not immediately clear what it would be, especially with the added wrinkle of nepotism laws.

Additionally, Donald Trump has indicated that he wants his children to take over his business affairs while he is president, claiming that they will run a “blind trust.” He is scheduled to give more details in a news conference on Dec. 15.
