On Sunday night, “Atlanta” actor Lakeith “Keith” Stanfield channeled his inner Kanye West by getting up on the stage during the Critics Choice Awards to interrupt an acceptance speech.
Stanfield got on the stage when Tom Lassally was accepting the award for best comedy series for “Silicon Valley,” and Stanfield joined the producer with his own acceptance speech, saying, “I want to thank everybody for honoring us in this way. We worked very hard on ‘Silicon Valley’ and here we are. Thank you.”
Lassally, for his part, seemed to take it in stride, though he did tell the audience, “I have no idea who that was.”
