Kanye West meets with Donald Trump at Trump Tower

Kanye West paid a visit to President-elect Donald Trump at the Trump Tower in New York City.

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

On Tuesday morning, Kanye West visited Trump Tower to chat with the president-elect.

The rapper, who was recently hospitalized after having an apparent mental breakdown, declined to give the reason for his visit, and his wife, Kim Kardashian, was not with him. After meeting with the president-elect, West came out to the lobby and posed for a picture with Trump, telling reporters who pressed him on the purpose of his visit, “I just want to take a picture right now.”

Later, Trump told the press that he had met with West and “discussed life,” calling West a “good man.”

E! reports that West was there to discuss a possible position in which he could promote entrepreneurial leadership.

Their meeting comes after West was hospitalized for over a week following an apparently mental breakdown that caused West to cancel the rest of his scheduled tour.

Before canceling the tour, West went on several controversial rants, including one in which he suggested that he would have voted for Donald Trump if he had voted in the 2016 presidential election.

He also ranted against Beyonce and Jay Z shortly before he cut a concert short and then cancelled the rest of the tour.
