Lamar Odom checked himself back into rehab because he was worried he might go on another bender on the anniversary of his dead son's birth.
According to TMZ, the reason Lamar Odom checked himself back into rehab was that he was worried he might have a relapse on the anniversary of his dead son’s birth.
Lamar’s son, Jayden, was born Dec. 15, 2005, but he died that June from SIDS.
Jayden’s death was reportedly the trigger that pushed Odom into doing hardcore drugs in the first place, and Odom is acutely aware of the fact that Jayden’s birthday is a hard time for him.
Add that to the fact that Odom is reportedly struggling to come to terms with his divorce from Khloé Kardashian, and he felt he had good reason to go back to rehab for his own sake.
