Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

During an interview with “The Breakfast Club,” Stevie J confirmed his romantic relationship with Faith Evans, adding that he’s dating his “best friend.”

“I’ve known her for almost 25 years,” Stevie told Charlamagne tha God, Angela Yee and DJ Envy of his friendship-turned-love affair with his former Bad Boy Records colleague.

The reality star and record producer said that his relationship with Evans is “brand new” and made it clear that their romance didn’t happen overnight.

“It wasn’t like that [at first]. We were all family and then as years progressed we began to hang out more, talk more,” he said. “I shouldn’t have crossed that line, because once you cross that line, emotions really overwhelm me and her. Once you start dating your best friend it’s different.”

Stevie also revealed that the R&B diva “sings for me all the time.”
