After reports that their romance had ended, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx allegedly reconciled and celebrated their love with a romantic getaway.
After reports that their yet-to-be confirmed romance had ended, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx allegedly reconciled and celebrated their love with a romantic getaway to Cabo Dan Lucas, Mexico, for Holmes’ birthday.
“Katie and Jamie took a private jet to Cabo on Friday morning from Van Nuys Airport [in Los Angeles],” a source told Us Weekly. “It was a quick trip in honor of Katie’s birthday. It was only them and two pilots on the plane.”
The couple, who have been quietly dating since 2013, reportedly caught a limo to the Las Ventanas al Paraiso resort.
“They stayed in one of the most private suites at the hotel, separate from other guests and entered by a small path,” the source said. “They wanted to be very discreet and had everything delivered to their room and taken care of by a personal butler.”
Foxx and Holmes went on the trip without her daughter, Suri, who she shares with former husband Tom Cruise.
Foxx and Holmes have been dating for years yet have kept the relationship very low key. They are not seen together that often, and there are few photos of them together. One rare shot of the couple holding hands was published in 2015.
“He is very happy with her. I love that he seems very happy,” said Foxx’s friend Claudia Jordan, former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star. She later claimed to have “misspoke.”
