Nick Cannon has been hospitalized due to Lupus complications and is expected to stay in medical care through the Christmas holiday.

The famed comedian revealed his hospitalization in an Instagram post of himself strapped to monitors at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.

“For all who have been trying to contact me the last few days this is where I’ve been,” he wrote, using the hashtag #LupusSucks. “And I will be in the Hospital through Christmas. All good though, Doctors say I will be back to normal before the New Year.”

Cannon, 36, has been hospitalized on multiple occasions over the last few years. In 2012, the Howard University freshman announced he suffers from kidney disease, which led to his diagnosis of the autoimmune disease Lupus.

While he spends the holiday in a hospital bed, Cannon’s twin son and daughter will reportedly be with mother Mariah Carey in Aspen.
