Trey Songz arrested for destroying stage after mic is turned off

Trey Songz was arrested Wednesday night for tearing up the stage after his mic was dropped during his performance.

During his show at the Joe Louis Arena, the R&B crooner was told that his set was going long, but he promised to “go insane” if his mic was turned off.

Then, when the mic was in fact turned off, he did go nuts, trashing the stage and throwing things. A police officer who tried to stop him was injured by the projectiles before Trey was at last arrested for resisting arrest and malicious destruction of property.
