Leslie Jones is coming after Simon & Schuster for signing a book deal with Milo Yiannopoulos.
Yiannopoulos, an editor at Breitbart News, was considered to be one of the ringleaders of the army of racist trolls who ultimately led to Jones leaving Twitter after a torrent of abuse over her role in Ghostbusters.
Now, Jones is saying that in signing a $250,000 book deal with Yiannopoulus, Simon & Schuster are just spreading hate.

“You still help them spread their hate to even more people,” Jones said in response to the publisher’s claims that the book deal was not an endorsement of Yiannopoulus’ views.
As for Simon & Schuster, they released a statement last week which said: “We do not and never have condoned discrimination or hate speech in any form.”
“At Simon & Schuster we have always published books by a wide range of authors with greatly varying, and frequently controversial opinions, and appealing to many different audiences of readers,” it said in the statement. “While we are cognizant that many may disagree vehemently with the books we publish we note that the opinions expressed therein belong to our authors, and do not reflect either a corporate viewpoint or the views of our employees.”
