Jay Z shuts down interview over question about Donald Trump

While at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival promoting his new doc, Jay Z shut down an interview with a reporter after being asked about President Donald Trump.

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

While Jay Z was at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival to promote his new documentary, Time: The Kalief Browder Story, he fielded a few questions from reporters, but there was one topic that he said was off-limits: President Donald Trump.

When a reporter asked him for his thoughts on America’s new president, Jay Z replied, “Not going to answer that,” before Harvey Weinstein jumped in to end the question and answers session.

But besides the Trump question, the rest of the promotion went well, and Doug E. Fresh even made it a point to congratulate Jay Z not only on his success but on putting out a positive image.
