The estate of Anthony BarrĂ©, a deceased New Orleans rapper known as Messy Mya, is filing suit against BeyoncĂ©, claiming that the “Formation” singer used a clip from BarrĂ©’s 2010 video “A 27 Piece Huh?” in her hit song.

The estate claims in the suit that BeyoncĂ© took BarrĂ©’s “I like that,” in his voice, straight from his video. What’s more, they claim that she blew them off when she was confronted about it.

Now, BarrĂ©’s estate is suing for $20,000,000 in back royalties and other damages.

Barré was shot and killed in 2010, and the clip constitutes some of his final recorded words.
