During Friday’sĀ OutnumberedĀ panel on Fox News, Meghan McCain said that she had “no sympathy” for Democrats who were upset about the Trump administration’s ties to Putin because, as she claimed, it was the Obama administration who made those ties possible.
Juan Williams was the guest panelist during the discussion as the group talked about the recent allegations made against Attorney General Jeff Sessions concerning how much contact he had with Russia. Williams said that he wanted “answers,” but it was McCain who launched into her own tirade about the whole matter.

āCan I just say one thing?ā she broke in. āIf [Barack]Ā ObamaĀ hadnāt been trying to normalize everything with [Vladimir] Putin for the last ten years and letting the ambassador come over here and meeting with everybody, you guysĀ wouldnāt be having these problems, so maybe you shouldāve taken Putin seriously for the past ten years. This is your problem that you guys made and I have no sympathy. I say this on the couch for Democrats right now who all of a sudden care about Russia, care about Putin, because itās politically expedient.ā
