After a Missouri woman died during a Brazilian butt lift surgical procedure, authorities are investigating.

According a police release, Ranika Hall died after going in for the procedure at the Eres Plastic Surgery clinic in Hialeah, Florida. Emergency responders were called to the clinic on Thursday night responding to reports that Hall was not breathing, but she died at the hospital an hour later.

On Friday night, the clinic issued a statement in which they said that the clinic is “deeply saddened by what has occurred” and that the surgeon is “dedicated to providing the highest level of care to his patients.”

According to The Miami Herald, Hall’s death is the fourth since 2013 that can be linked to a network of clinics associated with physician Ismael Labrador and his ex-wife, Aimee De la Rosa. The clinics have reportedly lured in women from out of town through their website, which promises amazing results at a low cost.

Hall’s death was one year after the death of 29-year-old Heather Meadows, who also died after a similar procedure at the clinic, then known as Encore Plastic Surgery.

GoFundMe page has since been set up by Hall’s mother in order to cover funeral expenses. Hall leaves behind a 1-year-old daughter.
