Infamous ‘Nazi dad’ legally changes last name to ‘Hitler’

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

A New Jersey man has officially changed his last name to Hitler. Heath Campbell got the approval for the name change on Friday.

“I’m named after a hero. The judge approved it. My name is Hitler now.”

The name change, signed off on by Judge Michael O’Neill, doesn’t go into effect until May 8. The document also lists Campbell’s first name as Isidore.

The man gained notoriety back in 2008 when a grocery store refused to write “Happy birthday, Adolf Hitler,” on a cake for his son, who was named after the genocidal dictator.

He was back in the headlines in 2013 when he lost custody of his children. The father of four went all out for family court, wearing authentic Nazi regalia that included a Swastika armband.

His other children also share the names of white supremacists, like JoyceLynn Aryan Nation and Eva Lynn Patricia Braun.
