Mary J. Blige says she found ‘proof’ husband cheated

Singer tells Angie Martinez she grew tired of the "overwhelming disrespect," and after doing a little investigating, decided enough was enough.

In a recent radio interview, Mary J. Blige revealed that she found the “proof” she was looking for that her estranged husband Kendu Isaacs was unfaithful, which ultimately led up to the demise of their 12-year marriage.

The singer tells Angie Martinez that she grew tired of the “overwhelming disrespect” from Isaacs, and after doing a little investigating, decided enough was enough.

“The overwhelming disrespect, you’re too familiar, you’re way too familiar you’re disrespecting me and I know, I can sense that I’m not what you want anymore. You start to realize that this man doesn’t want you and he’s just gone all the time and you’re by yourself in the relationship,” Blige said. “You start to realize that this man doesn’t want you and he’s just gone all the time and your by yourself in the relationship. When you realize you’re by yourself and you’re just suffering through it, now it’s time to do some investigating.

“I was getting things here and there but I didn’t have no full proof but when I got the full proof I didn’t have to investigate. It just showed up,” she added.

Blige is currently engulfed in a testy legal battle over the divorce, in which Isaacs is asking for six figures in spousal support.
