Anti-gay pastor who praised Pulse massacre found guilty of child molestation

Kenneth Adkins, the pastor who said Pulse nightclub in Orlando “got what they deserved” has been convicted on child molestation charges.

Kenneth Adkins, the homophobic pastor who said that those who died at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando “got what they deserved” has been convicted on eight charges related to child molestation.

According to the Florida Times Unionthe charges stem from sexual relationships that he had with an underage girl and an underage boy who attended his church seven years ago. According to prosecutors, Adkins had methodically groomed the two teenagers to have sex with him when they were both only 15.

The male accuser said that he wanted to come forward to prevent Adkins doing anything like this to any other teenagers.

After only an hour of deliberation, the jury came back with a guilty verdict, and Adkins will be sentenced on April 25.
