Stalker begs to marry Malia Obama at her internship

Secret Service agents reportedly kept a longtime stalker away from Malia Obama where she was working at her Tribeca internship.

Secret Service agents reportedly kept a longtime stalker away from Malia Obama where she was working at her Tribeca internship.

The stalker, Jair Nilton Cardoso, allegedly went to the fourth floor of the building where the former first daughter works to put a sign in the window and beg her to marry him on April 10. Two Secret Service agents escorted him out.

Two days later, Cardoso followed her out of the building, and Secret Service recognized him from his previous attempts to get into the White House. They told him to leave her alone and turned him away.

The next day, Secret Service agents came to Cardoso’s apartment to interview him and determined that he seemed to be mentally imbalanced before they escorted him to a Brooklyn hospital to be evaluated.

Secret Service reported Cardoso’s behavior to the police on Tuesday, and law enforcement officials are now considering whether to bring stalking and harassment charges against Cardoso.
