Representative Maxine Waters is glad to see that Bill O’Reilly is now gone from Fox News in the wake of the tide of sexual harassment allegations against him.

“Unfortunately, he was a man who made tremendous sums of money, had a huge show, and really, there’s something wrong with him psychologically,” Waters told CNN’s Anderson Cooper on Wednesday after it was announced that O’Reilly had been ousted from the news network.

“I hope he seeks some help,” she added. “And I hope that the women who have come forward feel good about the justice they are receiving.”

Earlier this month, Waters had said that O’Reilly “needs to go to jail” when The New York Times published the shocking story that O’Reilly and Fox News had paid out $13 million in addressing sexual harassment complaints against the news host.

When Cooper asked if Waters still felt that way, she replied, “The day will come when rich men won’t be able to buy their way out of this criminal activity, and they will go to jail, and they should go to jail.”

O’Reilly has been kicked out of Fox News after a sexual harassment scandal that saw protests as well as an advertising boycott of O’Reilly’s news show in the wake of the reports of the scandal.
