FiancĂ©e doesn’t believe Hernandez killed himself, files lawsuit

Aaron Hernandez's fiancée, Shayanna Jenkins, is suing the Department of Corrections to evidence that could prove his death was not actually a suicide.

Aaron Hernandez’s fiancĂ©e, Shayanna Jenkins, is suing the Department of Corrections to be sure that they preserve evidence that could prove his death was not actually a suicide.

According to TMZ, Jenkins, who is the mother of Hernandez’s 4-year-old daughter, has sued the department to keep them from discarding or destroying physical evidence as well as video and prison records because she believes that Hernandez was murdered and did not actually commit suicide.

To that end, Jenkins has hired lawyer Jose Baez, who has promised to run his own investigation into Hernandez’s death.

A judge is scheduled to hear the matter on Friday.
