Michelle Obama salutes Beyoncé for creating scholarship for girls

Beyoncé's recently announced "Formation Scholars" for young girls going to college caught the attention (and praise) from America's former first lady.

Recently, Beyoncé announced that she would be creating a scholarship for young girls called the “Formation Scholars.” The announcement was met with praise for Queen Bey for supporting young women in their paths to become better, and it even apparently caught the eye of former First Lady Michelle Obama.

“Always inspired by your powerful contributions @Beyonce. You are a role model for us all. Thank you for investing in our girls,” Obama tweeted out on Tuesday in support of the new scholarship.

We’re so here for women supporting women, and this is a prime example of that on so many levels.
