Prince’s family is reportedly putting the kibosh on any music releases until after their reality show debuts, because they want the new music to air first on their show.
According to TMZ, the reality show will focus on the story of Prince’s family and how his untimely death impacted them.
The show is still in early production, but the estate is still fighting with George Ian Boxill, who produced the “Deliverance” EP, to stop him from releasing the new music so it can instead debut on the show. Doxill has been ordered to turn the music over to them, but he is fighting that order.
