Fan embarrassingly calls out Bow Wow for lying about private jet

On Tuesday, Bow Wow posted an image of a private jet saying that he was traveling for his press tour for his new reality show, Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta. The only problem: someone else posted an image of the rapper on a commercial flight, not a private jet.

“‘Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta’ Press tour… Starts today. I’m on the move,” Bow Wow captured the image of the private jet.

However, someone else took to the internet to post,”So this guy lil bow wow is on my flight to NY. But on instagram he posted a picture of a private jet captioned ‘traveling to NY today’. smh.”

Bow Wow has since said that the picture of him on a commercial flight, adding, “Half ya’ll broke mafukkas [sic] still can’t afford a buddy pass on Spirit airlines. Stay out the big boy lane.”

But that didn’t stop the internet from coming for him, especially once people realized that the image of a private jet that he had used was a stock image. The same image was used on the website of a VIP transportation service out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Although Bow Wow didn’t say that he was flying on that particular jet, the inherent message had been clear, and the internet won’t stand for it.
