On Thursday, Megyn Kelly made her debut on NBC, and it didn’t exactly go off swimmingly.
Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie and Matt Lauer were doing the intro for Kelly’s segment, but Kelly only greeted Guthrie and Lauer.
“Hey guys, it’s great to be with you, Matt and Savannah,” Kelly told the Today show co-hosts, causing Kotb to jokingly throw her hands in the air at not being addressed.
Despite the snub, Kelly’s first appearance on NBC went well after that, with her announcement that she would be sitting down with Russian President Vladimir Putin one-on-one as she reported from St. Petersburg, Russia.
Kelly’s new NBC show, Sunday Night With Megyn Kelly, debuts on Sunday at 7/6C.
