Marvel has just released the new poster for the upcoming Black Panther movie, and we couldn’t be more excited about it.

The poster featured Chadwick Boseman dressed as the titular Black Panther seated on a throne and looking regal in his superhero suit, without the mask. The trailer is expected to be released tonight during the NBA finals.

Black Panther follows the story of T’Challa, the Black Panther, after he returns to his home country of Wakanda, which is an isolated but technologically-advanced African nation. After the events of Captain America: Civil War, in which T’Challa’s father, T’Chaka, was killed, T’Challa is the new king, and the movie follows his story as he takes the throne. However, intrigue and danger catch up with the brand new king, and T’Challa must fight to save not only his throne and country but the entire world.

The film, which now has a Feb. 16, 2018, release, is directed by Ryan Coogler and produced by Kevin Feige, with Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole writing. In addition to Boseman, fans can look forward to seeing Lupita Nyong’o starring in the movie alongside Michael B. Jordan, Angela Bassett and Forest Whitaker.
