Tiffany Haddish has just landed her first stand-up comedy special: “From the ‘Hood to Hollywood.”

Haddish filmed the show at the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center, and her jokes ran the gamut of telling her own story of growing up in foster care to telling celebrity stories, such as the story of when she introduced Will and Jada Pinkett Smith to Groupon.

The show will premiere on Friday, August 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime.

Haddish has been a rising star lately on the comedy scene, with “The Carmichael Show” and the film Girls Trip under her belt and a new project, “The Last OG,” coming up as she stars alongside Tracy Morgan in his comedy series.

What do you think, Grio fam? Are you excited to see Tiffany Haddish spread her comedic wings?
