Lamar Odom is standing by his insistence that he was not on drugs when he collapsed in a nearly fatal incident in 2015.

“I think that was God just trying to talk to me, get me to stop doing whatever I was doing,” Odom told Wendy Williams on Wednesday. “Because I didn’t take any drugs that night.”

Odom was found unresponsive in a Las Vegas brothel and was in a coma for nearly three months.

Williams pointed out to Odom that authorities confirmed in 2016 that toxicology reports showed that he did, in fact, have cocaine in his system, but Odom simply replied, “OK, but I didn’t.”

This is not the first time that Odom has insisted that he was not high during that fateful night, telling Us Weekly in March, “Looking back, I might have had a drink to get the mood started, but was I drunk or on drugs? No way.”

Odom also spoke with Williams about Khloe Kardashian, his ex-wife, saying that he has nothing but well wishes for her and her current beau, Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson.

“They seem happy together, good for them,” he said, later adding that there was not going to be a reconciliation between him and Kardashian.

“That would be the best for both of us to keep our distance,” he said.
