Notorious B.I.G.‘s mother, Voletta Wallace, took to Instagram to show just how furious she was with Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
She posted an image of their new “vintage” t-shirts, one of which has her son’s image on it, and blasted the move as “disrespectful and exploitation at its worst.”
“This product has no affiliation to the Notorious B.I.G. estate,” Wallace wrote alongside a picture of the shirt, which has Kendall and Kylie’s image over her son’s. “The estate was never contacted about using the The Likeness of Biggie.”
She also blasted the girls for putting Kendall’s face over an image of Tupac. The estate sent a cease-and-desist letter to the Jenners demanding that they stop selling the merchandise.

The Jenner girls have since pulled the “vintage” t-shirts, which were selling for $125 each, and have issued an apology, saying, “These designs were not well thought out and we deeply apologize to anyone that has been upset and/or offended, especially to the families of the artists.”
The Jenners used images not only of Biggie but of Tupac, Ozzy Osbourne, The Doors and Pink Floyd in their merchandise without contacting any of their estates, which feels incredibly hypocritical when they are in several legal fights over their own likenesses being used.
