Omari Hardwick isn’t here for the criticism of his wife, Jennifer Pfautch, for her race.
The two were married in 2012 and have two children together, but it seems some people aren’t on board for the interracial marriage.
“Love you ghost … you lost points for marrying white…but we still got you,” someone posted on an image of Hardwick and his wife, and Hardwick just wasn’t going to let that stand.
The Power star wrote in response: “i’d prefer you not to have me. You just lost all points with me. Good luck in life.”
Hardwick’s wife also recently responded to critics of interracial marriage in general with a promotion of the movie Loving as well as this message on social media:
Today marks the 50th anniversary of the historic case of Loving vs. Virginia. It made it possible for everyone to fully embrace their soul’s mate, regardless of the color they found it in. Although no ones heart needs a ruling to love who it loves, (it will love anyway) this landmark trial put an end to interracial marriage being illegal in the United States. Some of you sorry, insecure souls, silently or not so silently, wish it was still illegal. I would like to update you on a few things: 1. You lost. 2. Who anyone loves was/is NEVER any of your business. 3. Love ALWAYS wins. 4. Catch the f** up. ❤️ #LovingDay #lovingvsvirginia #LoveIsLoveIsLove#LoveAlwaysWins #YouDontOwnAnyonesHeart #HateIsAViceOfTheWeak
