Nicki Minaj’s ex Safaree considers Mona Scott-Young ‘our Oprah’
After snagging his own TV show, Safaree Samuels had nothing but praise for his "Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood" boss.
Three seasons ago, Safaree Samuels, Nicki Minaj‘s ex, joined the cast of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood with help from Mona Scott-Young.
Now, he is getting his own OWN show, with Scott-Young prepping the project, and Samuels has nothing but kind words for the woman who helped his career.
“When I had the world against me without even knowing who I was you were the only person who gave me a fair shot.. didn’t judge didn’t assume didn’t care who I was with or not. Had to be 1 of the darkest times in my life.. imagine helping build an empire walking away from it with nothing and having everyone shun you just because you’re not the bigger star,” he wrote in a gushing, grateful post on social media.
“IDGAF what any1 has to say @monascottyoung you are out here saving lives and entertaining millions across the world.. how could you hate on a black woman for doing that!! This is our oprah wether [sic] you wanna admit it or not!!! Take it how you want.. it’s facts!!! *sidenote* I’m booked and busy.. love you!! #stuntgang.”
