A Washington, D.C. blind date turned into a girl power moment for the six women that a man tried to book dates with in one night.

Lisette Pylant had been set up on the blind date with a project manager named Justin for her birthday, but just 45 minutes into her date with Justin, the second woman showed up.

“I decide to play the friend in order to help the girl feel less awkward until he exits for a moment and then I tell her what’s up,” Pylant recalled in a now-viral Twitter thread recalling the situation.

Justin’s third date arrived, and the girls made sure to let her in on the situation.

“The two girls and I have now gotten both bartenders and the bouncer in on this and are taking this guy for all he’s worth over here,” Plyant said.

The three women made sure that Justin paid their tab before going to another bar together, but the bartender made sure to keep her in the loop so she could invite the women to join their group.

“He tried to say he was looking for love and his future wife,” she tweeted. “These ‘weren’t dates’ they were apparently ‘pre-date conversations.’”

Eventually, Justin left the sixth woman at the bar, but the women themselves had a great night and made new friends.

“You win some, you lose some — but hopefully you make three new best friends in the process,” she captioned a group photo. “Cheers ladies. Don’t f–k with us.”
