Hot Boys rapper Turk set to appear on Iyanla: Fix My Life
Next month Iyanla Vanzant returns to OWN with a brand new season of Iyanla: Fix My Life.
The first guest booked to meet with the spiritual life coach is Turk of the Hot Boys.
When Turk was 21 he was a successful recording artist, was in love with his girlfriend Erica and had plenty of money. Then his life fell apart when he got into a shootout with police at his home.
It’s been four years since his release and he and wife Erica are struggling to hold their marriage together despite Turk’s deep seated paranoia that stems from the shooting and his belief that old enemies are out for revenge.
Iyanla goes to Memphis to help the couple and works to help Erica find her own identity which has been lost amid the traumas she has endured throughout her relationship with Turk.
The episode is titled Rapper’s Remorse and airs on Saturday, September 30 at 9 pm.
