R. Marcos Taylor, who is known for his role in Straight Outta Compton in which he played Suge Knight, is now facing multiple charges of assault.

According to TMZ, the charges stem from an incident a couple weeks ago in which Taylor allegedly punched two people at a Carrabba’s Italian Grill in Green Brook, New Jersey.

The incident started when Taylor allegedly got into an argument with the manager of the restaurant. Taylor reportedly punched the man repeatedly in the face.

Taylor was then reportedly dragged out of the restaurant by several people, at which point a larger fight occurred. During that fight, Taylor allegedly punched a woman on the side of the head.

However, Taylor has since claimed that he was the one who was attacked, claiming that he was jumped in the parking lot and that he was only acting in self-defense when he “tossed” an employee at the restaurant.

Taylor is now facing four counts of assault, one count of criminal mischief and one count of disorderly conduct.
