Mike Tyson is ready to work on a biopic about himself, which he says will star Jamie Foxx.
According to The Sun, Tyson, who was convicted of rape in 1992, said that the movie will be “uncomfortable” for some people to watch.
“It’s on, as of right now. Jamie Foxx has signed on for it. Filming hasn’t started yet but it’s going to happen,” he said. “A lot of people aren’t going to like the things I’ve done in my life.”
However, while Foxx has expressed interest in the project, he reportedly “didn’t far so well” when he “tried a bit of sparring.”
“Mike knows it is Jamie’s dream to play him and they have talked about gym work and how he could put him through his paces,” said a source close to the actor. “The only thing is if they go sparring and Mike connects, Jamie may never make any movie again.”
While there is no official word on the biopic, Martin Scorsese is reportedly attached to direct and is “keen” to get started.
