Nick Cannon attended the protest in the Delmar Loop, St. Louis yesterday wearing a Colin Kaepernick jersey.
The protest had more than 1,000 marchers and was peaceful until people left at the end, leaving behind some of the more unsavory characters who smashed storefronts. Police officers arrested at least six individuals.
Cannon was there earlier in the night as the crowd made their way through the loop before moving south and west before ending the march in the commercial district.

Cannon took a photo with St. Louis Alderman John Collins-Muhammad at the event as well.
This is not the first time Cannon has traveled to the Midwest in order to advocate for Black Lives Matter. He was in Cleveland last year to protest during the Republican National Convention.
People in St. Louis are protesting the acquittal of former police officer Jason Stockley on murder charges. Protesters have been lining the streets of the city causing some concerts like U2 and Ed Sheeran to be canceled for fear of violence.
