Man gets pushed out the L train while screaming the N-word

A group of New York subway riders weren’t going to stand for a man’s overt racism and kicked him out of the L train while he screamed the N-word.

According to video obtained by Gothamist, a man holding a can of Bud Light Lime-A-Rita started spouting off slurs. Witness Joshua Pyne said the incident had started over a “spat about personal space” between the man and a group of black men.

“I talk sh** because I know I can ’cause I’m a lawyer, I went to NYU Law!” the man shouts in the video. “F*** you!”

The video shows passengers blocking the man at the door and even shouting back at him. When he is blocked against the door, he tries once more to get on the train for his bag, to which someone replies “f*** your bag, dude.”

“You can’t take my property!” the man shouts.

When the train reaches the Bedford Avenue stop, the straphangers push the man off the train until he falls back on the platform. He tries to reenter to get his bag but is shoved back. Someone on the train even throws a tub of soup on his head.

The man runs down the platform and shouts one more slur, to which someone responds, “Get your hate speech out of here!”
