Tamar Braxton rushed to hospital amid battle with flu
Tamar Braxton has been hospitalized after suffering a bad reaction to flu medication.
According to TMZ, Braxton had been promoting her new album, Bluebird of Happiness, when she started to feel under the weather. She had to cancel several public appearances because she was simply unable to speak and finally went to the doctor for some relief.
After being prescribed Prednisone, which is a steroid meant to help her throat, Braxton suffered a bad reaction to the drug. The swelling became so severe that she was eventually hospitalized.
Braxton posted a picture of her hospital bracelet with the hashtag “#thisbluebirdisNOThappy” on Instagram to let fans know what was going on and to ask for prayers.
