Mary J. Blige’s ex wants more money for her sad songs

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Mary J. Blige may have more drama on the horizon thanks to her estranged husband, Kendu Isaacs.

He’s reportedly seeking more spousal support from the singer who sent him packing over alleged infidelity last June. After 12 years of marriage, he’s looking to cash in on her sorrow-fueled success.

According to reports, he’s insisting he’s needs $65,000 per month from the Grammy winner to “survive” and basically credits himself for helping her endure the heartache that prompted her recent divorce-inspired songs, “Set Me Free” and “Love Yourself”.

He’s also alleging the superstar has tarnished his name by sharing their dirty laundry with the world, prohibiting him for obtaining a job of his own, while Blige is seeing a surge of success since the split.
