‘Combat Jack’ reveals battle with colon cancer

Reggie “Combat Jack” Ossé has never missed an episode of podcasting in the seven years since he switched from being a hip-hop attorney to a podcaster.

But on Monday, Ossé told his followers that he is fighting colon cancer.

“Internets, what’s up? It’s your man Combat Jack. In 7 years of podcasting, I’ve never missed an episode. I got hit with some real life s—t. I was recently diagnosed with Colon Cancer,” he said in a statement posted on Twitter.

“I was rushed to the hospital, had some pretty severe surgery,” he added. “I’m on the mend right now. I’m about to jump on this journey to health with chemo and alternative medicine.”

Despite the grave news, Ossé swore he wouldn’t let it stop him from podcasting.

“Take care of your health,” he said before adding, “Your boy aint going nowhere though. We’re going to keep doing this. Keep rocking’ with us.”
