Her brother, Jelani Maraj, has been accused of raping an 11-year-old girl, his stepdaughter at the time. The trial began last week, and Maraj’s legal team suggested in opening arguments that Minaj would be there to testify.

However, TMZ has reported that Minaj never planned to take the stand, despite reports that she planned to argue that her brother’s accuser was trying to extort her for millions of dollars over the rape allegations.
When asked by TMZ whether Minaj would be there, Maraj’s attorney said, simply, “I have no idea, we’ll see.”
