Clinton shows restraint in taking dig at Trump, plugs new book

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Hillary Clinton could have gloated about the recent indictments in the Russia investigation, but instead, she turned a question into an opportunity to plug her new book.

On Monday, Cinton was at a signing for her book, “What Happened,” which explores her point of view on how the 2016 presidential election went down, when she was asked about the indictment handed down to former Donald Trump campaign head Paul Manafort.

Rather than comments, Clinton simply pointed out that “I have a great chapter about Russia,” plugging the book she was currently signing before getting right back to work.

Manafort was indicted in relation to special prosecutor Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Russian interference in the election. Mueller’s focus is to determine whether collusion occurred in the campaign in an attempt to sway the election with Russia’s help.
