Diddy says name change to ‘Love’ was a joke – and we’re officially over it
Diddy says it was all just one big joke...
Looks like Diddy pulled a fast one on everyone when he announced he was changing his name to Brotherly Love.
Now, the music mogul is changing his tune and insisting his announcement was just a joke via social media.
“Due to the overwhelming response from the media out there, and just due to there not wanting to be any confusion… I was only joking, okay,” he said in an Instagram video. “I didn’t change my name. It was just part of one of my alter egos. One of my alter egos is ‘Love.'”
Hmmm…
We’re not entirely sure if this really started out as a hoax or if he’s backpedaling due to the overwhelming response from fans but either way, we’re glad this one is behind us.
