Venus Williams was in the hot seat for a deposition in the case of the fatal car crash in June that led to the death of Jerome Barson.

Barson’s family is suing Williams, claiming that she is at fault for the crash because her car was blocking an intersection when Barson’s car T-boned hers.

The tennis champion has maintained that the only reason she stalled in the intersection was that there was a third car that cut in front of her, forcing her to stop to avoid running into that car.

Depositions usually only take a day, and depending on how things go during the deposition, the case could move forward to trial.
