Roy Moore’s attorney mocks Don ‘Lemon squeezy’ during bizarre interview

Luther Vandross was outed as gay after his death.

Roy Moore’s lawyer, Trenton Garmon, has a nickname for Don Lemon and he used it twice in an interview about the sexual misconduct allegations Moore is facing.

Garmon was on Lemon’s show to defend Moore, saying that he believes the judge’s denials. The interview got testy but it started out lighthearted with Garmon nicknaming the host “Don easy peasy Lemon squeezy.”

As Lemon kept pressing him on why the women who are accusing Moore would make up such claims, the lawyer once again call him “Don Lemon squeezy keep it easy.”

Lemon interrupted him and said, “It’s just Don Lemon.”

During the interview Garmon said there are “people that say they were offered money…by the Washington Post” in order to make up these fake allegations.

As the pair went back and forth over the accusations against Moore, Garmon said that the Foundation as well as Moore’s wife have been “slandered by the Washington Post.”

Several times during the interview Garmon accused Lemon of misleading him as to what the interview would be about.

Garmon also said that he hoped Lemon wasn’t offended by the nickname he gave him earlier because he was just kidding around.

“I’m not offended,” Lemon said. “I just think it’s disrespectful.”

Check out the full interview below. The strange encounter with Garmon begins at the 4:00 minute mark.
