Eve doesn’t think that Nicki Minaj‘s recent sexy Paper Magazine cover is a good image to present to impressionable young girls.

Recently, Minaj’s cover sought to “break the internet,” but the newest co-host of “The Real,” and rap veteran, didn’t appreciate the way Minaj was going about her position as a role model.

Eve made it clear that Minaj was a “nice person” and that she had enjoyed working with her on Barber Shop 3, and she praised her talent: “She’s an amazing rapper, and as a lyricist, I respect her as a lyricist.”

“But as a woman, from my point of view, personally, I would not be able to do that,” she said, referring to the cover.

“I think in this climate, it’s not good,” she continued. “I think every artist has a right to express themselves however they want to express themselves, and I respect that as well.”

“For me, personally, as I started coming up in the business, I started realizing that young girls were looking up to me and younger people were looking up to me,” she added. “Not that you want to be a role model, but it becomes what you become. It is what you are.”
