“Queen Sugar” star Rutina Wesley revealed that she’s happy in love and engaged in a series of of Instagram photos.

Wesley, who also plays lesbian and bi-sexual characters on both “Queen Sugar” and “True Blood,” has recently been posting photos of her and a New Orleans chef who goes by the name Chef Shonda.

One of the photos is of the happy couple enjoying their time at a “Queen Sugar” finale event and then just a few days later a pic of them in a car looking happy. Wesley captioned it “#FromTheInsideOut You are the sunshine of my life…”

This weekend she posted an inspirational quote and a gallery of pictures that ends with one of an engagement ring on her hand.

The photos were beautiful and clearly heartfelt, but the caption she posted for the gallery says the most about their relationship.

Wesley called Chef Shonda “the light of my life,” “fire of my loins,” “my sin,” and “my soul.” For good measure, she added some hashtags as well, such as, “Always more, never less. I said yes,” “I was looking at her and found my joy,” “She feeds my soul,” and “I love you more than words.”
