Tomi Lahren slammed for posting photoshopped photo of Colin Kaepernick

Republican Tomi Lahren is at it again and this time she is going after Colin Kaepernick. He doesn’t have to worry though because the internet has his back.

Lahren has always been a controversial figure, even before she was a Fox News contributor she was stirring the pot with Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze. Liberals and progressives have long been her targets but unfortunately for her, it goes both ways.

The pro-Trump commentator felt the need to post a photoshopped image of Colin Kaepernick on Thanksgiving. The image showed him kneeling on D-Day as the soldiers around him stormed the beaches of Normandy. The post did not go over well at all with some needling her for fun and others who were genuinely offended.

She captioned the picture “citizen of the year” in an apparent stab at GQ magazine’s decision to give the quarterback their annual honor.

Kaepernick, 30, first made headlines last year for first sitting during the anthem and later kneeling for it. He was protesting police violence against people of color, the flaws in the justice system as well as racism.

Since he began protesting he has been a target for conservative hate so chances are good he is getting used to this by now.
